I have been fitting hearing aids since 2005. This journey has been very fulfilling. The technology in these tiny hearing aids is phenomenal. It is such a great feeling when a person’s face lights up when all of a sudden, they can hear so much better! Doing the mobile practice has opened up a new door in that fitting hearing aids in the patient’s residence is so much better than in a hearing aid store. Real life room acoustics, tvs, spouses and other family members in that environment make for a preferred setting for programming the hearing aids.
