Belinda’s hearing aid business started in an office setting in 2005. Hearing aids were fit and programmed at the office. Bringing this service directly into the consumer’s home/living environment has made a big difference when it comes to getting a better fitting initially. Room acoustics, different types of tvs – speaker systems, family members interacting in that environment – all of this combined assists in being able to better adapt the hearing aid settings according to their everyday environment. This has really improved the overall process.

Belinda loves being involved with a continually evolving technology that is in tune to the struggles people have in all sorts of listening environments. When she first started, in 1995, hearing aids had little trim pots for adjustments. Now hearing technology has come a long way and can even allow for those with hearing aids to hear better in noisy environments than those who have no hearing impairment.
